POSITION TITLE: PART-TIME TELLER POSITIONS
DEPARTMENT: BRANCH
FUNCTION: TELLER
Provides customers with service on a variety of routine
transactions. Assists in ensuring that the Bank is in compliance with local,
state and federal regulations.
Duties:

1.

Provides customers with a variety of
services in a friendly manner including:
|

Processing customer deposits and withdrawals and
cashing checks.

Selling money orders and travelers checks.
-
Processing loan payments.
-
Redeeming savings bonds.
-
Providing both direct and telephone assistance in such
matters as balancing passbooks, transferring funds, and posting savings
interest to passbooks.

Providing credit card cash advances and accepting
payments.

May perform duties related to the savings operation by: |

Completing the application for selling savings
bonds.

Opening and closing accounts and processing all funds
and documents related to these procedures.

Filing and typing as necessary. |

May cross-train for other functions within
the Teller area. |

Interacts harmoniously and effectively
with others, focusing upon the attainment of bank goals and objectives through
a commitment to teamwork. |

Conforms to acceptable
punctuality/attendance standards as expressed in the Employee Handbook. |

Performs additional duties as requested. |
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous teller experience
helpful. Excellent customer service skills required. Good math skills also
required. Familiarity with Personal Computers required. Ability to work with
little supervision. Good communications skills, verbal and written required.
Physical Demands/Conditions Requirements:
General office environment. Ability to lift 35 lbs required. Moderate reaching,
walking and standing required.

General office equipment.
