Bangor Savings Bank, Maine's largest independent bank, now adds Pepperell's five branches in York County and begins serving its more than 4000 customers.

Approve Mutual Holding Company
Bangor Savings Bank’s depositors have overwhelmingly approved the reorganization
of the institution from a mutual savings bank to a mutual holding company structure.
A Special Meeting of Depositors was held on the afternoon of December 21, 2006.
Free ATM Access Worldwide
 Bangor
Savings Bank customers no longer pay fees to use any ATM
worldwide. The Bank eliminated foreign ATM surcharges from its own fee schedule
and now reimburses customers for charges other banks impose for Bangor Savings Bank
customers to access funds from those banks’ ATMs.
