Additional Services

  • Wire Transfers
Initiate domestic wire transfers easily through our iCM (Internet Cash Manager) system or call our wire desk, toll free 1 877-Bangor1 (1 877-226-4671)
  • CDARS
CDARS is the Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service, which is the easiest way to enjoy full FDIC insurance on deposit amounts larger than $100,000.  Your large deposit would be broken into smaller amounts and placed with other banks in the CDARS network, so that your entire investment is eligible for FDIC insurance.  By working with just one bank – Bangor Savings Bank – you can reap the benefits of full coverage.  Please see the enclosed CDARS brochure for further information regarding benefits of the program.
  • Card Acceptance Services
Many municipalities do not want to absorb the expense related to credit card payments – nor do they want to charge the customer for the convenience of payment with a card.  Solution? With PIN Debit-Only, municipalities allow their taxpayers the convenience of paying for services with an ATM/Debit Card, for a low single transaction fee. Interchange fees and complicated rate schedules are avoided.
