Bangor Payroll has partnered with MEMIC, Maine's leading workers' compensation insurer, to offer Comp-As-You-Go. Once qualified, Bangor Payroll will collect your workers' compensation premium as part of the regular payroll run and remit the funds, along with reporting information, to MEMIC for payment of your premium.

Comp-As-You-Go:
  • Alleviates hefty upfront deposits and improves your cash flow
  • Directs payment of workers' compensation premium
  • Provides timely, accurate payroll-to-premium calculations
  • Minimizes exposure to large year-end audits
  • Directs debit billing in connection with payroll cycles
  • Reduces risk of overpayment or underpayment

Acceptance to Comp-as-you-go is subject to MEMIC underwriting review.

Comp As You Go applies to Bangor Payroll customers only.

Payroll services are subject to enrollment in Bangor Payroll tax service.
