What are eStatements?
eStatements, or electronic statements, are statements that you view online and they replace your paper statements. eStatements include the same information your paper statement does. You will receive an email notification when your eStatement is ready to view. Sign on to Bangor Online to view, download, save, or print your statement at your convenience.

How do I begin receiving Bangor Savings Bank eStatements?
Login to your Bangor Online account, and select the navigation link labeled "eStatements." This will take you to the enrollment page. Follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Read the terms and conditions. Click 'Accept' to continue.
  2. Enter and/or confirm that your email address is correct. Enroll each of your available account statements by selecting 'Yes' from the dropdown. You will see the Delivery Method change to 'Online' as you do. Click 'Next' to continue.
  3. Confirm that your email address and accounts enrolled are correct. Click 'Submit' to complete the registration process.

How long will it take to set up my eStatements service?
The entire process takes less than 2 minutes. Depending on when you enrolled, you may still receive one final paper statement. You will receive a confirmation email at the address you provided during enrollment.

What accounts are eligible?
Bangor Savings Bank offers eStatements for all Personal and Business checking and savings statement accounts, all overdraft and home equity lines of credit, as well as mortgages.

How do I view my eStatements?
Each month, you will receive an email from the Bangor Savings Bank email address eStatements@bangor.com, notifying you that your statement is available for viewing. At this time simply sign onto Bangor Online and navigate to the eStatements page.

Can I save the PDF version of my eStatements?
Yes, however, our electronic statements solution provides a rolling 18 month history of your statements that are easily accessible within Bangor Online. If you wish to retain a PDF version on your computer, you may open your PDF statement document then choose "File" then "Save As" from the menu and specify where you want the document saved. Be sure to select a file name that will help you remember which statement the file contains (example: BSBCheckingApril2004.pdf). Or, if you prefer, you can print a hardcopy of your statement for your records.^ top

Do I have to be a Bangor Online customer to receive eStatements?
Yes, you do need to have a Bangor Online account in order to receive Bangor Savings Bank eStatements.

Will my eStatements have the same information as the paper statement I previously received?
Yes, your Bangor Savings Bank eStatements will contain all the same information as the paper statement you were previously mailed including your check images and any important notices from Bangor Savings Bank.

Is my eStatements information secure?
Bangor Savings Bank takes every possible means to ensure that our products and services meet the highest level of security commercially available. To provide the highest level of security, you must access your eStatements via Bangor Online, an extremely secure site with multifactor authentication.

What if I can't access my eStatements?

What if I stop receiving my eStatements email notifications?
Bangor Savings Bank monitors the eStatements delivery system for any possible delivery issues with email so that your eStatements service is not interrupted. If you do not receive your email within the normal time frame, please check to be sure your email mailbox is not full and that your email address has not changed. You should also make sure that the email address Bangor Savings Bank uses to send your notification (eStatements@bangor.com) is not blocked on your email as SPAM. Then notify Bangor Support at 1.877.Bangor1 (1.877.226.4671) during normal business hours.

What if my email address changes?
If your email address changes, sign onto Bangor Online

  • Visit the eStatements page
  • Select the "Manage Preferences" link
  • Update and confirm your new email address in the boxes provided

Can I get a copy of a statement that was previously sent to me?
Yes, we can send records of electronic statements and paper statements. Bangor Savings Bank's standard research fee of $2.00/10 pages ($2 min) and an additional $25.00 hourly research fee will apply since retrieval of those records requires extra research. Bangor Savings Bank will attempt to deliver your older statements electronically. If this is not possible, a paper copy will be mailed via the U.S. Mail to your mailing address on record.

Will I continue to receive paper statements once my eStatements service is set up?
No, once you have completed the enrollment process for Bangor Savings Bank eStatements, paper statements are no longer produced for your account(s). However, based on when you sign up for eStatements, you may receive a paper statement and an electronic statement the first month.

What if I change my mind and want to go back to paper statements?
You can cancel your Bangor Savings Bank eStatements delivery at any time.

  • Login to Bangor Online
  • Visit the eStatements page
  • Select the "Manage Preferences" link
  • Next to each account you wish to unenroll, select 'No' from the dropdown box. Click 'Next'.
  • Confirm the delivery method for each account and then click 'Submit'.

You will receive a confirmation email listing the accounts that were unenrolled.
