Q: What is Phishing?
When someone goes Phishing they are trying to deceive users with a faked email or website so that they can gain personal or financial information.

Q: What is a spoofed email?
A spoofed email is one that appears to have come from a legitimate business, when in fact, the origin is that of a scam artist. The address of the sender is usually very similar to that of a trusted source.

Q: Should I report a spoofed email or website?
Bangor Savings Bank will never send you an email or Web link requesting your personal or account information. Should you receive such an email or discover a suspicious website that claims to represent Bangor Savings Bank, please contact our customer service center at 1-877-226-4671.

Q: What is identity theft?
