Step One: Change your direct deposits to your Bangor Savings Bank account.
Step Two: Change your automatic payments to your Bangor Savings Bank account.
Step Three: Close your former bank account.
Step One: Change Your Direct Deposits
Complete a copy of the Direct Deposit Authorization for each company that makes direct deposits into your account.
Please print and mail the authorization directly to the service provider or bring it to your local Bangor Savings Bank branch and we’ll take care of everything for you.
Step Two: Change Your Automatic Payments
Complete a copy of the Automatic Payments Authorization for each service provider with which you have an automatic payment.
Please print and mail the authorization directly to each company or stop by your local Bangor Savings Bank branch and we’ll be happy to deliver all authorizations for you.
Step Three: Close Your Former Bank Account
Once you have verified that your direct deposits and automatic payments have all successfully switched to your Bangor Savings Bank account, complete the Authorization to Close Account.
Please print and mail the authorization to your former bank or bring it to your local Bangor Savings Bank branch and we’ll handle the rest.
