Sweepstakes Rules: Nine prizes of $1,000 in value will be awarded. Random drawings will be held for three prizes each from entries submitted by residents of three regions of Maine: (1) York, Cumberland, Androscoggin, Sagadahoc, and Lincoln; (2) Kennebec, Somerset, Franklin, and Oxford; (3) Aroostook, Piscataquis, Penobscot, Washington, Hancock, Waldo, and Knox.
Only Maine residents 18 years of age or older may enter. Limit one entry per person. No purchase necessary, nor does purchase affect odds of winning. Odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received. Employees of Bangor Savings Bank ("Bank"), GG Direct, FORGE Worldwide, Fulgent, and their immediate families are ineligible. Customers of the Bank as of 12/14/2007 assigned to these Bank branches are automatically entered in the sweepstakes, subject to the availability and accuracy of the Bank's customer records: Broadway, Bangor; Biddeford; Saco; Hollis; York.
Entry forms may be obtained at any Bank branch, from www.bangor.com, or by mail from the address below, and must be returned at a Bank branch. Only official entry forms will be accepted. Entries must be actually received only between 8:00 a.m. January 7 and noon January 26, 2008. The Bank is not responsible for any entries not actually received whether or not due to the fault or omissions of the Bank, and reserves the right to verify and/or disqualify entries in its sole discretion. By submitting an entry form, entrant agrees to these rules and agrees to release, hold harmless and indemnify the Bank against any and all claims and damages of any nature arising from this sweepstakes, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Winners will be drawn by 2/10/2008 and notified by phone, E-mail, or mail. If the Bank is unable to contact a winner within 7 days, an alternate winner may, at Bank's discretion be selected at random. Prizes must be claimed by 3/10/2008. Subject to all applicable laws, regulations and taxes. Winners are responsible for all taxes. Prize will not be awarded unless winner provides Bank with an executed release and waiver of liability; tax identification number to report earnings to the IRS; and consent to the use of name, photo, and likeness for publicity, without additional compensation.
