Priority Giving
The Foundation focuses its strategic philanthropy efforts on improving Maine's regional and statewide economy. This includes supporting the economic development, workforce development, and demographic and entrepreneurial health of the regions we serve.
We focus on:
- Encouraging increased workforce education levels and addressing out-migration of Maine youth.
- Leveraging Maine's creative economy in support of increasing regional income levels and economic activity in rural communities.
- Supporting Maine entrepreneurs and micro-enterprise businesses whose needs are not met by existing programs.
