BANGOR, Maine – The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation recently awarded $49,500 in grants to 19 nonprofit organizations in Maine and New Hampshire.
The Foundation awards grants to nonprofits with worthy initiatives that make communities more prosperous, more livable, and more vibrant. Grant applications are reviewed quarterly.
The following Maine organizations received Bangor Savings Bank Foundation grants:
Bar Harbor Festival Corporation, Hancock County; Cobscook Community Learning Center, Washington County; Families First Community Center, Hancock County; Friends of Congress Square Park, Cumberland County; Hancock County Auditorium Associates, D/B/A The Grand, Hancock County; Maine Council of the Atlantic Salmon Federation, Washington County; MaineStream Finance, Penobscot County; Saint Andre Home, Inc., York County; Trekkers, Inc., Knox County; Trinity Jubilee Center, Inc., Androscoggin County; Waldo Community Action Partners, Waldo County; The Yellow Tulip Project, Cumberland County.
The following New Hampshire organizations received Bangor Savings Bank Foundation grants:
Friends of the Concord-Lake Sunapee Rail Trail, Merrimack County; Girls At Work, Inc., Hillsborough County; Gundalow Company, Rockingham County; The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester, Hillsborough County; New Hampshire JAG, Hillsborough County; Zebra Crossings, Strafford County; Behavioral Health & Developmental Service of Strafford County, Inc., D/B/A Community Partners, Strafford County.
