BANGOR, Maine – Bangor Savings Bank recently partnered with Husson University on a unique
course offering that enabled 24 bank employees to earn a master’s degree in Business
Administration. The bank held an event Jan. 3 to congratulate the recent graduates.

The master’s program was fully paid for by Bangor Savings Bank, and structured to bring
Husson instructors to the bank to teach the thoughtfully constructed and rigorous course work,
making it easier for the students to balance full-time jobs and families.

“Husson is proud to provide advanced business education through our MBA program to the

Bangor Savings Bank President and CEO Bob Montgomery-Rice commented, “We were so
pleased to offer our employees the opportunity to earn their advanced degree at no cost to
them. We understand the importance of a highly skilled workforce and the positive impact
