PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire
– Bangor Savings Bank President and CEO, Bob Montgomery-Rice, has announced that the Bank will open a new branch at 8 Bow Street in Portsmouth.
The Bangor, Maine-based bank will do a complete renovation of the street-level storefront on Bow Street, maintaining the exterior details of the historic block. The branch will have a staff of five. Construction will begin pending regulatory approval, and the branch is expected to be operational by late summer of 2018.
“We’re excited to be moving forward with another investment in Portsmouth,” said MontgomeryRice. “Portsmouth is a wonderful, vibrant downtown and we are thrilled to be part of it.”
