Windham, ME: Deepening its dedication to Maine’s local communities and expanding on an opportunity to better serve customers, Bangor Savings Bank will open its first full-service branch in Windham. The new location will be well positioned in a convenient location to further support the needs of small business owners and local community members; it marks the Bank’s 58th location in Maine.
The Windham branch, located at 745 Roosevelt Trail, will open June 1, 2021. Among other offerings, the branch will include mortgage loan services, business banking, drive-up and lobby banking, an ATM and a coin counter.
“Establishing a branch in the Windham community is a long-anticipated step to better serving our customers in the region,” said Bangor Savings Bank President and CEO Bob Montgomery-Rice. “Our teams are looking forward to forming new relationships while becoming an even more present and engaged partner in the community that you can turn to.”
The branch found its high traffic location in what was previously a Dairy Queen, located at the corner of Roosevelt Trail and Abby Road, just a block away from Route 302. Neighboring with Cross Insurance, the bank approached this newly built location in an eco-friendly way, leveraging solar panels to power its daily operations.
