On December 21st Congress passed the Economic Aid to Hard-Hit Small Businesses, Nonprofits, and Venues Act. This Act includes changes to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and its forgiveness parameters. We understand the importance of having access to funding now more than ever, and that’s why Bangor Savings Bank will be there once again to assist businesses through the PPP loan process under the new Act.

Bangor Savings Bank welcomes new and existing clients to open a business deposit account and apply for a SBA PPP loan. However, we are limiting applications to businesses that are existing customers or principally located within our footprint.

(1) A BSB customer applying for a PPP loan for the first time or (2) a BSB customer applying for a Second Draw PPP loan that previously received a First Draw PPP loan from another financial institution.
