Mortgage Checklist

The following information is typically required during the loan process:

  • Current pay stub and most recent W2
  • If self-employed, your most recent, complete tax returns
  • Bank statements for the most recent month
  • Investment account statements for the most recent month (if being used for down payment or closing costs)
  • Retirement account statements for the most recent month (if being used for down payment or closing costs)
  • Valid photo identification

If purchasing a new home, please provide the following:

  • A copy of your earnest money deposit check
  • A copy of your Purchase and Sales Agreement signed and executed by all parties
  • A copy of the property listing brochure and subject property deed, if available

If you are refinancing an existing mortgage, please provide the following:

  •  A copy of your most recent mortgage statement
  •  A copy of the deed (legal description)
  •  A copy of your most recent tax bill and homeowners insurance
  •  A copy of all notes for loans & statements for account being paid off
  •  Condo Association Dues (if applicable)

If applying for a construction loan, these items are also typically required:

  • Building plans & specs
  • Construction budget
  • Construction contract
