Community Matters More voting takes place each year in April, and the winners are announced in June. As you drum up votes for Community Matters More, we've created the ideas and materials below for you to use.

How to Generate Support

Every vote counts! The following are some ways to consider getting the word out about your organization. Be creative, be enthusiastic, but above all have fun!

  • If you have a website, link directly to bangor.com/cmm so supporters can cast their votes.
  • Use our Nonprofit Social Media Toolkit to help create content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or other social networking sites to connect with those who support your organization and be sure to use #CMM2026 and tag Bangor Savings Bank.
  • Send an email including a link to the voting page (bangor.com/cmm) and encourage recipients to vote and forward it on.
  • Write an article for your website/newsletter/email and tell the story of what a grant would do for your organization.
  • Follow Bangor Savings Bank on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram and share our Community Matters More posts with your audience.
